Hector Perez, Frances Towle, and Sean Peachey graduated from the Academy of Oriental Medicine at Austin with Masters Degrees in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. They are licensed by the State of Idaho to practice Acupuncture and are nationally certified in Oriental Medcine by the NCCAOM.
Hector received his undergraduate from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in sociology with a minor in math. He is also fluent in Spanish and excited to bring acupuncture to the Spanish speaking communities in the Treasure Valley. In addition to practicing acupuncture, Hector is an avid cyclist who can regularly be seen pedaling around Boise and the foothills. He has a specific interest in treating chronic degenerative disease as well as helping athletes optimize thier potential safely and naturally through acupuncture, herbal and nutritional therapy.
Frances has always had an interest in holistic health and education. Her undergraduate degree is in anthropology with a focus on modern and ancient medical systems cross-culturally. This study eventually led her to pursure a masters degree in Oriental Medicine and acupuncture. Studying acupuncture has given her the opportuninty to engage with the community in a positive and effective way. Her goal is to help people have significant and lasting breakthroughs in their health and well being no matter what their current condition may be.
Sean specializes in the subtle and gentle art of Japanese Acupuncture and Moxibustion. He is a certified Japanese Hari Practitioner under Sensei T. Koei Kuwahara. In studying with Kuwahara Sensei, Sean has developed an affinity for Pediatric Acupuncture and hopes to continue to grow and learn in this aspect of his practice. Sean has been an avid practitioner and instructor of both Internal and External Martial Arts for over 15 years, with experience in teaching both adults and children. He continues to develop in these areas with Qigong, Yoga, and Meditation. Sean is committed to bringing a positive and dynamic healing influence to the community of Boise with a goal to continue to grow and learn from each and every person he works with.
